Portfolio artefacts
Every module ends with a practical, downloadable artefact, like a Personal Learning Plan or a Professional Email Portfolio, that learners can take straight into job applications.
What I am building now
Learn the Skills. Feel Confident. Get the Job. Keep the Job.
Worthy Courses is an Australian online training platform that teaches the practical employment skills nobody formally teaches: how to get a job, keep a job and grow in it.
Schools do not teach employability. Employers do not teach it either; they expect you to already know how to show up, speak up, follow through and work well with others. Everyone is supposed to have these skills, and no one is ever actually taught them.
Worthy Courses makes those skills explicit, learnable and certifiable. It is a self-paced online learning platform built around the skills employers actually hire for: communication, reliability, people skills, resilience and workplace readiness.
Each module takes about six hours of self-paced learning and ends with a 30-question quiz. Every course finishes with a final assessment, and certificates are only issued once a learner passes it. That is the point: a Worthy Courses certificate means the work was actually done.
Every module ends with a practical, downloadable artefact, like a Personal Learning Plan or a Professional Email Portfolio, that learners can take straight into job applications.
A certificate for every completed course, earned by passing the final assessment. Learners can opt in to a public profile listing their completed courses, so an employer can confirm any certificate is genuine.
Realistic workplace scenarios and scored practice across the platform, so learners rehearse the moments that matter before they happen for real.
Professional audio narration of lessons. The first module of every course includes free audio, and full audio is part of the paid experience.
Self-paced learning with progress tracking, points and a leaderboard (with a privacy opt-out), and a community of fellow learners.
Courses can be given as a gift, and gift cards are valid for three years. A course is a present that changes what comes next.
A world first
Every Worthy Courses learner studies alongside Corso, an AI learning companion built for employability training: a world first. Corso answers questions in plain language, helps learners practise the hard conversations, and shapes an AI-personalised learning plan around how each person actually learns, not how a curriculum assumes they should.
Innovation like this usually reaches corporate learning teams years before it reaches the people who need it most. I built Worthy Courses the other way around: the most advanced learning technology, pointed first at the people the system usually serves last.
Every paid course funds a free place for a learner who faces barriers to employment. That is not an add-on, it is the model: the more Worthy Courses grows, the more free places it creates.
To develop a social enterprise that allows anyone to access genuine and equal opportunity to build the life they deserve through economic empowerment.
In 2021, after coming through a period of severe mental health struggles, I started Worthy Cause, a charity and social enterprise. We operated cafes and a cookie manufacturer, and we run a structured six-month employment program for people facing entrenched disadvantage and complex barriers to work. Through stable paid work, real training and soft skills, we gave people the wraparound support they need to create the life they deserve.
Over five years, alongside more than 200 volunteers, 20-plus employees, paid experts, consultants and pro bono partners, we learned what actually helps someone become ready for work. Worthy Courses is how I am taking those learnings to everybody: the same practical, dignified approach, built into self-paced courses so that employability, and a path to a better life, is within reach for anyone.
Worthy Cause and Worthy Courses are separate organisations. Worthy Cause is a charity. Worthy Courses is an independent, Australian-owned social enterprise: buying a course is a purchase that creates impact, not a donation.
Employers, schools, training providers, employment services and community organisations can license Worthy Courses for their people. An annual per-user licence covers all nine courses and includes setup support, an admin dashboard, quiz score and completion reporting, single sign-on, co-branded certificates, priority support, and buy one, give one impact reporting.
Real skills, real confidence, a real chance. For anyone who wants a better life.
Australian-owned. Independent.
